June 11, 2020 -- The City Lake Contractor (Solitude Lake Management) installed Micro-bubble aeration diffusers at some locations in the lake. The design and implementation update was not written or sent by the City via U.S. mail to residents.
The design can likely be optimized further for maximum effectiveness. Such as by considering storm drain outlet flow, wind fetch for BGA scum build-ups, among other factors. Sediment remains untested/ not investigated.
No comment was made by the City / Contractor if these were considered.
