NOW ENROLLING!
At this age level, we try to fuel your child's energy and curiosity by offering tons of learning and art activities. With the introduction of eight learning centers for unstructured play time, this allows access to many children's books and offers many different ways for your child to play. Everything including the work they have done is at eye level for the children to see and access. Your child is quickly growing into their own independence. We encourage them by incorporating activities that hone their self-help skills. With our help and your cooperation, we help guide them on the journey of potty training, trying different foods, and exploring their new personalities.
With our parent's cooperation, we help our two-year-olds embark on the journey of potty training. With our help, your child will transition from diapers to pullups and eventually to underwear.
At this age, your child will transition from a sippy cup to an open cup. A small step to prepare them for the three-year-old classroom. We prepare meals full of whole grains, lots of healthy fruits and vegetables, and lean proteins. 1 percent milk is introduced and served four times a day to toddlers (Breakfast, Lunch, Snack Time (x2)).
Children are taken outside for 45 minutes twice a day if the weather permits. Outside they are able to put their gross motor skills to work. They have their own personal playground where they can play to their hearts desire.
Learning Beyond
Language and Literacy
Our curriculum allows your child to learn how to control their emotions by teaching them to communicate during stressful times. It encourages your child to listen and follow directions. It offers opportunities to connect and share through fun activities.
Music and Movement
Our curriculum provides children with opportunity to show a satisfaction in his/her abilities. It allows them a safe and free space to express themselves with music by allowing them to dance and have fun.
Physical Development
Your child will participate in activities that engage their large motor skills. Our curriculum allows your child to demonstrate beginning of non-locomotor movements by instructing them to reach for their toes or objects on their tip toes.
Approaches to Learning
The child will demonstrate interest in learning through persistence and varying degrees of initiative, curiosity, sensory exploration and problem solving. They will explore relationships and the environment independently and with purpose.
