Now Enrolling!
We at Happy Times CDC know how difficult it is to leave your child in someone else care. This is why we do not take it lightly. With safety being one of our main concerns, we take pride in knowing that you trust us with your infant. With the help of our talented and certified teachers, we make the transition to daycare smoother for the parents. Our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified, CDA certified, and Certificate of Mastery certified. Our two infant classrooms provide a safe, loving and teachable environment to help prepare your child to take on the world. Every morning a Sunshine Report is filled out with your child's name on it. This allows the teachers to show you how many times your child was changed, what they have eaten and learned, and also what are your child's need for the week.
EXPLORING OUR CLASSROOM
SHOE FREE ZONE!
Our infant class has a NO SHOE POLICY only socks and/or booties. This creates a safe crawl zone for our children without the risk of bacteria and germs on their tiny hands and in their mouths.
FLEXIBLE FEEDING SCHEDULES
Our infant class accommodates breast fed and formula fed babies by labeling your infants bottles with their name, date and whether it is formula or breast milk. Every bottle is sanitized and bleach after every use and stored in your proper child's cubby. Mothers are always welcome to come and feed their babies as well.
CREATING A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT
Along with keeping your baby safe, our goal is to keep your baby healthy as possible. Our rooms are sanitized, swept and mopped every day. Our bottles, cribs, changing tables and toys are bleached and sanitized at the end of each shift, and the sheets are changed and washed.
Safe Sleep
Our main priority is keeping your baby healthy and safe by following the Safe Sleep guidelines
Always keeping babies on their backs until they can roll over themselves
Laying them on a firm and flat surface that is not inclined or angled in a safety approved crib with a mattress and fitted sheet
Keeping the crib area clean of pillows, toys etc.
LEARNING BEYOND
At Happy Times CDC, we believe that the learning starts here in the infant room. Our curriculum focuses on teaching your baby about the world around them while letting them explore. It encourages them to learn words, curiosity, and build trusting relationships. Our classrooms are fully equipped with educational toys. We have a bookshelf full of wonderful books that are read three times a day. Our group time incorporates tummy time and sensory exploration with soft books and rattles.
Our shoes free room allows our infants to crawl (when they are able) around the room. We have walkers that encourages our soon to be walkers to explore the classroom on their feet. With the proper weather, our caregivers take the children outside where they are put on a blanket and able to experience nature. This allows them to pay attention to their surroundings and encourages sensory exploration.
Your baby's curiosity is what fuels his desire to learn about his surroundings. In our classroom, we focus on body awareness, noticing through senses, and responding to the caregiver. We have a variety of exercises and educational toys that allow them to display their interest. We offer a wide range of infant books with abstract colors and rhyming that captivates your baby's attention.
At Happy Times CDC, we focus on creating nurturing connections between the teachers as well as the children. We establish routines for our babies and focus on forming a bond with them as well.
As infants mature and develop increased muscle strength and coordination, continue to provide opportunities for them to explore new ways to move their bodies (e.g, pinch like a crab, crawl like a caterpillar, roll like a bear etc.)
