Sofia- Retired Queen
Sofia is the heart of our home and the foundation of our program. She has now been retired after three carefully planned litters and is spayed, enjoying a well-earned life of naps, love, and family adventures. Sofia was bred to the same exceptional stud for all three of her litters because of the consistency, health, and temperament that pairing produced.
She is gentle, affectionate, and steady by nature, with the kind of temperament that makes Golden Retrievers such wonderful family dogs. Sofia’s legacy lives on through her daughters, who carry forward her calm demeanor and loving personality

Eve- Current Breeding Female
Eve is the heart of our current breeding program and a beautiful example of balance between working instinct and family temperament. She comes from strong field-bred Golden Retriever lines commonly sought after by hunting and performance homes, yet is remarkably gentle, intuitive, and calm in the home. Eve is intelligent, biddable, and deeply connected to her people, with an excellent off-switch that makes her a joy to live with.
Eve has completed her health testing and is carefully paired with outside studs selected for temperament, structure, and complementary strengths. She represents everything we strive for at Happy Heart Homestead — a Golden Retriever built for the field and bred for the family.
Additional health and pedigree information is available upon request, and we carefully evaluate health, temperament, and lineage when planning each litter.
Piper- Family Companion - Not Bred for Goldens
Piper is Eve’s full sister from a different litter and one of the most easygoing dogs we’ve ever owned. She has an incredibly gentle nature and would never hurt a soul — no matter how much love, hugging, or attention she receives. Piper adores children and is especially fond of wrestling and playing with them, making her a constant source of laughter in our home.
While Piper is healthy and deeply loved, she has lighter-colored eyes that fall outside of the Golden Retriever breed standard. Because we are committed to responsible breeding and preserving breed traits, she is not part of our Golden Retriever breeding program. She is, however, a treasured family dog and an important part of daily life at Happy Heart Homestead.
