Hello, this is Ted Kang. I'm currently an Chinese international student in Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto with a focus on language and literacy education. I was born in a family of educators. When I was in preschool, my grandfather taught me Hanzi in a very special and interesting way. I was able to read four years earlier than my peers. When I came to Canada, I accidentally found that the teaching approach my grandfather used on me was much more efficient than the traditional rote memorization method. Chinese Characters is the main obstacle that stops foreigners to learn Chinese. Therefore, I create this website to demonstrate the learning approach I benefited from. I wish I can help people struggling in learning Chinese with my effort.
