Ideation
I inspired by the Sunrise alarm so I design a small circuit with LDR to sense the light of the sun and reduce the resistance then allow the current to arrive at the buzzer and make sound and to the 7 segments
use tinkercad program to simulation the electronics circuit. We work on the multimeter and different electronics components like photoresistor, thermostat, potentiometer, 7 segments, and extra.
First, I design a schematic circuit and calculate the volt, current, and resistance.
Second, I draw my circuit on tinkercad to stimulate it and make sure it will work well.
Third, I use the breadboard and the components to make the circuit.
Finally, I test the circuit and measure the voltage and current using a multimeter.
I use a breadboard and these components to complete the project
Componentes
2 7-segments
1 LDR
1 buzzer
1 resistance 10 kohm
2 resistance 1 kohm
1 on\off Switch
1 LED
Wires
calculate the current and volt : V= I R
LED I = 6V \ 10 000 = 0.6 mA
V=4.66 I = 0.6 mA
LDR resistance = 4.66\0.0006=7.766 Kohm
Some of my peers ask for a tutorial to use the multimeter, so I sent some YouTube videos to help him
I faced a problem on tinkercad with 7 segments so I watched different videos even I reach the solution.
The solution is the 7 segments in the tinkercad is a cathode common not an anode common.
When I think about the circuit design I should be careful to the current and voltage measurement.
I will use the tinkercad and others tool to stimulation the circuit before making it in the real, to try it and make sure everything is Wright
Knowing how tools are made, what is inside them, and how they do them action
Yes, I made a thermostat circuit, LDR circuit, and use a buzzer and potentiometer.
