Ideation
I inspired by the DIY pencil holder, it is a square divided into 4 places for different types of pens and pencils.
I added a place for notepaper and for small parts like an eraser. To make it special I add my name and small flower on one face of the square.
I use fusion 360 to draw the design and I export stl file which I use in the prusa slicer program to prepare the file for the 3d printing machine.
I draw a design on my paper and took all measurements, and applied it to my design, I start to work and draw it in 3d on fusion 360 which I trained on it through all week.
I didn't like the output so I thinking about another design, and I draw it, then I exported the file in DLX and prepare it for 3d printing machine using Prusa slicer to not exceed 25 gram and 90 minutes in the slicer.
finally, I exported it in G-Code file
First, I opened my slicer to show my work for lab istructor to make sure it is good
second I prepared the machine with instructor help
then I am waiting to finish
my first design (neglected)
my useful design
I asked my instructor to give feedback about my first design and because I didn't like that design I changed it for this one.
I ask some help from my subgroup, they show me how I can return to my 3d body from a plan sketch.
I faced a problem with a circular surface, I cant handle it very well, but I saw a YouTube video that recommended by one instructor, and it's so helpful.
And the combine order on the fusion 360 program didn't work with me very well, so I ask my instructor in the midweek session and he help me and explain it to me.
I learned many different orders and application in 3d part like sweep, combine, revolve, and extra they will help me to make a good and nice design in 3d
The joints and the motion of the joint, it is a wonderful thing to see how it will work exactly, and I like how we can change the background and colors of 3d parts.
Through the week we take different exercises and make different vases with different designs.
We make a game medal with different motion in the joint.
We make a small circuit as pre-activity for the next week
