Ideation
I inspired by an elephant design I saw on google search.
I liked it because it has a nice and cute design and it is a multi-task you can use the back box for pens or anything else.
I use fusion 360 to draw and assembly the design and I export dxf file which I use for the laser work V6 program to prepare the file for the laser cutting machine.
First I searched on Google to see different designs and I choose one of them
Second, I draw the design on my paper and took all measurements from my phone, and applied it to my design
Third, I start to work and draw it on fusion 360 which I trained on it through all the week.
Finally, I assembly the design to make sure it is work after that I export all files in dxf and prepare them for cutting using laserwork v6.
we use for cutting mode speed at 25 and 65 power
and foe scan mode we put speed at 300 and 30 power
I opened the file on pc and downloaded it to the laser cutting machine.
With the lab instructor's help, I changed the place of the laser arm and setting other factors.
Start the cutting.
Without change the wood place, I try to make sure all parts are cutting.
I ask my colleague to give feedback about my design and he tells me some notes about the measurements and units, that is was so helpful.
I helped some of my colleagues by telling them some notes about how can they draw in fusion 360.
I ask youtube and see some tutorials to help me with some parts.
I ask some of my colleagues to give me an advice
I can design my final project by fusion 360 and make it 3d to assembly it and show me how it is will look like and make me sure about measurement.
Maybe I make the final project layout by laser cutting.
I Assembled the different 3d components together and saw the final product in 3d
We made a catapult model and assembled it together as an exercise
