The HAMP Foundation partners with Going Merry to make it simpler for students to find and apply for multiple scholarships. Follow this link to sign up for your FREE Going Merry account. From there, you will be able to preview the HAMP Scholarship application questions.
**IMPORTANT: WEBSITES HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO CRASH DURING PERIODS OF HIGH USE SUCH AS THE HOUR OR TWO BEFORE DEADLINE.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO CREATE YOUR GOING MERRY PROFILE .

We estimate it will take 1- 2 hours to complete the application.
**IMPORTANT: HAMP DOES NOT REQUIRE ANSWERS TO ALL THE FIELDS IN THE GOING MERRY PROFILE SECTION. OPEN THE HAMP APPLICATION FIRST AND IT WILL GUIDE YOU SO THAT YOU ONLY NEED TO FILL OUT THE FIELDS WE REQUIRE

1/10/26 @ 11:00 pm Central Time Applications due online
1/16/26 @ 5 pm Central Time - School rank information due from school counselors (only needed from students at schools that do not automatically provide class rank)
3rd week of January - Each application received by the deadline will be evaluated according to predetermined selection criteria and the top 20 candidates selected. Emails will be sent to the top 20 candidates requesting additional documentation, including evidence of scholastic achievements (high school transcripts) and letters of recommendation. Emails will be sent to all applicants explaining the status of their application.
TBD - Top 20 candidate transcripts and letters of recommendation due.
2nd week of February - Top 10 finalists selected and notified by email. Emails sent to the other 10 candidates explaining the status of their applications.
TBD - In-person interviews held with top 10 finalists, Foundation trustees and scholarship consultant.
1st week of March 2026 - Scholarship awardees selected; all finalists notified by email or phone of the status of their application
