I am writing to express my deep interest in the principal position at your school. With a background in teaching elementary and middle school, along with my recent Master of Arts in Education degree from Michigan State University, it is my desire to harness the rooted culture of the school while making changes that enhance successful practices. I take pride in my willingness to support individual achievement, as well as school, district, and statewide expectations, foster creative and structured learning environments for both students and staff, and integrate technology to deepen understanding, broaden differentiation opportunities, and close communication gaps. Together, we can create a community that is motivated to learn, explore, and experience in order to make connections that innovative the learning experience.

My experiences with internships in early education, teaching elementary and middle school, and coaching high school sports have given me a broad perspective necessary to be a successful principal. Those experiences paired with my Bachelor of Science in Education, from Western Michigan University, and recent master's degree, with a leadership in coaching and administration concentration, are what set me apart from my counterparts. From my involvement, I am experienced with budgeting and finance, administering, analyzing, and applying data from the NWEA MAP test, as well as creating PLC’s that enhance learning communities within the teaching divisions. What drives me is my desire to provide endless support for school families and staff to support the academic, social, physical, and creative success of each individual child.

I am confident that my professional and educational experiences, accompanied by my desire to help others succeed would be a great addition to your school community. The opportunity for an in interview will allow me to better demonstrate my work ethic and passion for teaching. I can be contacted at my Michigan State University email at hagemang@msu.edu.
