I like how the robot Stretch moved smoothly to my bed and kept a good distance while I put my hand on its tray. It moved slowly and carefully, which made me feel safe. I could see on the camera how the gripper lined up with the targets, showing me the robot aims to be exact, not just guessing. This still does NOT make me more willing to trust a robot that will use a needle near my skin.
What bothered me was when the fake "needle" (actually just a pen in a holder) touched my finger. I can't believe this would be clean or gentle in real use. I wondered how nurses would know when the finger is ready. Overall, the test version shows the robot can move and position itself well, but adding information about safety, cleanliness, and how it works with the nurse would make it more reliable.
