Our research team at Arizona State University offers hands-on demonstrations in visual perception for students of all ages. While these demonstrations are not technique-focused, they provide students with meaningful exposure to how the brain interprets the world around us—connecting scientific research to everyday experience. Through our outreach activities, we aim to foster curiosity, spark interest in science, and enhance understanding of the human brain, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world scientific research.
We offer complimentary presentations and demonstrations to high school, middle school, and elementary school students to make visual neuroscience more accessible and engaging—especially for those who might not encounter this material until college. For students interested in going further, we also provide opportunities to participate in lab-based research in the laboratory and gain a deeper understanding of how science works in practice.
Feel free to contact us with any questions or to schedule a visit—we’d love to hear from you!
