Use the maze background provided here and have Scratch work his way through maze collecting letters and avoiding snakes (or bugs). Make sure Scratch can't walk through walls (he's not a ghost, you know). You can have him earn points for his letters and lose them if he accidentally walks into that snake. You can make this challenge more advanced by making your own, harder maze and/or adding a timer!
Use the Flying Scratch sprite and create a background with obstacles to avoid that move horizontally across the screen. Have letters appear for Scratch to save and flying insects (or other creatures) for Scratch to avoid. You can even add pencils to give Scratch more fuel while flying.
Create a book sorting quiz game. See how well a player knows how to sort Library books. Present titles with authors for fiction challenges and the Dewey Decimal number (with the letters) for non-fiction challenges. Even present super hard ones based on non-fiction title with subject.
