The Innovation Center of KAU held a training
on the commercialization of innovations (May 28, 2020)
The Innovation Center of Kyiv Academic University held a training on the commercialization of innovations. The training for KAU employees was conducted by the invited speaker, management technology specialist Dmytro Kovalyov. He specializes, in particular, in three areas:
Discovery of profit reserves.
Attraction of external investments.
Planning as coordination of joint management work of various enterprise departments managers.
At the beginning of the training, Dmytro Kovalyov considered some theory about the commercialization of innovations, named the existing types of financing and described the benefits of each of them, as well as explained the features of presenting project to investors.
In his presentation "Opportunities and risks of commercialization of innovations", the speaker covered not only theoretical issues, but gave a lot of examples of real cases, considering them from the standpoint of investors. In addition, he shared his positive experience in implementing many projects in this area, as well as told the participants about his international experience.
The audience focused its attention on the speaker's views regarding the criteria for selecting an investor and the success of the funding search. In addition, during the training, the participants together with the speaker considered the possibilities and steps of implementing the proposed strategy for the project "Academ.City". The discussion continued until late in the evening.
