WHAT IS CHAPTER PRODUCTION STATUS?
"Production status indicates whether a chapter can be published or not. This status must be manually changed by a user of INKR CMS."
PROPERTIES OF PRODUCTION STATUS:
When a new chapter is created, its production status is set to Draft by default.
A chapter can only be published when its production status is set to Finalized.
Production status can only be changed for chapters that are currently not published or scheduled to be published.
SUPPORTED PRODUCTION STATUSES:
Draft: The chapter is not eligible for publication.
Finalized: The chapter is eligible for publication.
Production status is most helpful when a title has many collaborators with different roles. This status helps releasers determine which chapters are finished and ready to be published.
Keep a chapter as Draft while it is still being edited.
Set a chapter as Finalized only when it is ready to be published.
(!) Only changed Production status from Draft to Finalized when the chapter had been added chapter name, checked the quality, and added thumbnail already.
