STEP 6: MARK PAGE TYPE

WHY DO WE NEED TO MARK PAGE TYPE?

By nature, every chapter file we receive will have different conditions due to its nature (for printing, for digital consumption, etc); therefore, when importing to CMS, it's necessary to categorize images inside a chapter into correct page type to ensure pleasant reading experiences for readers.

For any title that in Page-by-Page format, images are divided into 3 types: Single, Double and Extra

In the INKR Comics app

Double pages are displayed in their full width so that readers can enjoy them. They are presented sequentially along with normal pages to the reader.
Bonus/extra pages are presented inside the "Credits & More" widget in Reading Break, so that they are accessible but not break the flow of the story.

HOW TO MARK PAGE TYPE IN INKR CMS

Step 1: Open Chapter tab > On the Left Side: click Edit (E)

Step 2: Choose a page > under Page Info on the Right side >

If the page is Single/Double page > choose Single/Double in the dropdown
If the page is Extra page

Tick at Checkbox below Page Info: Extra Page / Press Command/Ctrl + (E) to mark.

Press Command/Ctrl + (E) or Tick at Checkbox again to unmark.

Step 3: Once finish marking all pages in a chapter

Press Command (for Mac) / Ctrl (for Window) + (S)

or Save and Close to Save / Exit to Cancel.
