WHAT IS CHAPTER THUMBNAIL?
"In INKR Comics, the chapter thumbnail lets readers see a quick snapshot of a chapter as they’re viewing the chapter list. Having thumbnails reinforces your title’s visual quality, showcases the artworks, and builds reader anticipation."
PROPERTIES OF CHAPTER THUMBNAIL:
The chapter thumbnail is optional visual assets, meaning that you don’t have to set them in order to publish your chapters.
You can choose a thumbnail from the options INKR CMS automatically generates, or upload your own.
It should be close to character’s face.
The character must be placed in the center.
Character’s expressions clearly.
No more than two characters in one thumbnail.
DO NOT spoil.
Contains no title name/chapter number/speech bubbles to ensure key visual elements are visible to readers on a small scale.
Reflect the original art style of title: Avoid using images with exaggerated drawing styles as chapter thumbnails, because they are not representative of the general art style and can be misleading for readers.
Exclude images from other chapters, such as images from a recap or what’s-next pages, because they can be confusing for readers to navigate.
