Nov. 2020. Our theoretical and experimental work on tailoring hyperbolic polaritons in van der Waals cavities is now published in Nature Communications.
Oct. 6, 2020. Guangwei successfully defended his thesis, which is titled "METASURFACE ENGINEERING OF LOW-DIMENSIONAL NANOMATERIALS: INTEGRATION, STRUCTURING AND APPLICATIONS".
Oct. 2020. Guangwei has been selected as one of 10 finalists in "2020: Rising Star of Light" by Journal of Light: Science & Applications. He is the only PhD candidate among 9 other brilliant young optical scientists globally.
July, 2020. Our work (theory + experiment) of collective near-field coupling and the demonstration of nonlocal effect in infrared-phononic metasurfaces for the nanolight canalizations is published in Nature Communications.

April, 2020. Our theoretical paper on "Moiré hyperbolic metasurface" and photonic magic angles has been accepted in Nano Letters. See our effort how to twist our understandings of moiré physics in plasmonic twisted bi-layered graphene nanoribbons. This paper was also highlighted by Phys.org.
