2021 Fall Break Blitz

Non-USCF rated, the following tournament rules apply
- Clock move - your turn ends once you hit the clock (NOT touch move)
- Illegal move loses - if you make an illegal move and hit your clock, you lose!
- Spectators and tournament directors are not allowed to kibitz or call out when a player makes an illegal move or when a player runs out of time
- If a player loses on time, but the opponent does not have material to mate: the game is declared a draw (ex. Player 1 has 2 knights and Player 2 has just a king, Player 2 running out of time yields a draw)
Time Control: G/5 d0
Registration ends at 4:45 (Registration potentially in neighboring 2447)
Rounds start at 5, games will start ASAP afterwards (estimated to be done around 7:30)
One or two Sections, depending on entries
- If two sections, sections will be split according to rating
FREE Entry, No Prizes (at the moment)

No Half Point Byes! If you show up late, you will start the tournament with 0 points
Please bring your own clocks and boards! Can download a clock app on your phone if you don't have one
