Daniel Gurevich, International Master

Daniel Gurevich started playing chess when he was five years old. Throughout his chess career, Gurevich has won a handful of national tournaments, including two Supernationals. Gurevich earned the FIDE Master title in 2014, and just one year later, he became an International Master. Additionally, Gurevich wrote the "What's the Question" column in the bimonthly Chess Life for Kids magazine, which has over 10,000 readers.


Gurevich attended Georgia Tech from 2016 to 2020, where he Triple Majored in Industrial & Systems Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics. He was the President of the Georgia Tech Chess Club from 2019 to 2020 and is now working on his PhD at Princeton University. Gurevich has still been active in the Chess Club, participating in several Online Meetings during the 2020-2021 year.
