GT Chess Club

About

Welcome to Chess Club! Our meetings are every Thursday from 6:30 to 8 pm @ Klaus Room 1456. Players of all levels are welcome, and you can join the club at any time! In addition to these meetings, we will host tournaments, lectures for newer players, compete in intercollegiate tournaments, and coordinate excursions to local tournaments in the Metro Atlanta area over the weekend.


There are no club dues, but there may be entry fees to participate in some tournaments either organized by us or by other tournaments we travel to. Join our Discord to get updates about club events and to schedule meetups with other chess players here at GT, and join our Engage to officially become a member. Once again, welcome to Chess Club!
