Guided Program
Spaces in our Guided Program open in September and January, up to 20 classes per term.
At the current time, participation in the program is free, but teachers are required to attend or watch the recording of that year's Information Session.
Priority is given to Ontario teachers/students, but if space is available, any English-speaking class may participate.
At the current time, we do not have the ability to support classes in French, although we can guide you to accommodations to change the Minecraft game and world language to French on request.
To be informed when the next Guided Program opens, sign up for our School Visits newsletter or check back here.

Resources for Guided Program Participants
Note that these are for Guided Program participants only. If you attempt to book services without applying and receiving admission into the program, your request will be declined.
Book or reschedule your virtual visits
Book your Virtual Visits on our Bookings Page.
Make sure you are booking times for the Sustainable Style virtual visits
You will receive a bookings system confirmation. Save this email as you will need it if you want to reschedule.
Once a visit is booked, you will receive an email with links to your Zoom Visits. Add these Zoom links to your calendar to join the visit on the day.
The Team will manually add your Zoom links to your bookings system appointments as well.
If you need to reschedule
Please reschedule instead of creating a duplicate visit. This spares us having to track down and delete the duplicate in the system.
To reschedule at any time, check your bookings system confirmation and click on the "reschedule" button at the bottom.
If you can't find your booking system confirmation, contact your assigned educator and request a booking update so you can reschedule. You will receive a new email that looks almost identical to the one at right, and you can use the reschedule button there to find a new time that works for you.
Once we receive your reschedule notification, we will update your Zoom appointment.
Setting up your Flip topics
Flip topics are the biggest difference between the guided program and the independent program. They are what allows your museum educator to provide 1:1 asynchronous support to you and your students.
Create one group for ROM Minecraft that contains an identifier (your name & school, for example)
In your ROM Minecraft group, create 2 topics:
ROM Questions & Troubleshooting (plus your identifier)
ROM Build Tours (plus your identifier)
Add your museum educator to your group.
Once accepted, click on the 3 dots next to the ROM educator's name in your membership list and make them a co-lead.
This ensures that Flip notifies them of additions to your topics.
1:1 Support
If you need additional 1:1 Support, Book a Support Session with your ROM Educator
Note: This is a Teams meeting for you and your ROM educator. This is not an extra session for your class.
