Hotel Information
Attendees will stay at either the AC Hotel Sunnyvale or the TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection. The weekend’s events will take place at the Google campus which is 1/2 mile and easily walkable from the adjacent hotels (Google will also have a shuttle for folks to and from campus during event hours).
It is up to you to find a ride to the hotel from the airport once you arrive. You have some options which are outlined on the Transport to Hotels page.
Both hotels currently still have a couple of vacancies.

1. What hotels are available for me to stay at?
Delegates can stay at either the AC Hotel Sunnyvale or TETRA Autograph Collection. The weekend’s events will take place at Google’s MP3 campus which is 1/2 mile and walkable along a quiet, flat sidewalk from the hotels.
2. How do I book my hotel?
Please book your own hotel via the registration links sent to you by GSoC Admins in your confirmation emails.
3. How do I decide which hotel to book?
Each hotel has its own pluses and both are only about a year old - they are also adjacent to each other. You can book whichever hotel you wish until they are full. We have the same number of hotel rooms reserved for each hotel. There will be a small shuttle servicing both hotels.
TETRA has a tranquil vibe with a modern style & a terrace pool.
AC Marriott is oriented towards the "business traveler".
4. Is there a special room rate for the hotels if I want to stay additional nights at my own expense?
Yes. We have negotiated a room rate of $159 plus (12.695%) taxes at the AC Hotel Sunnyvale and $180 plus (12.695%) taxes at the TETRA Autograph Collection for the “shoulder nights” of Thursday, October 12 and Sunday, October 15.
5. Is parking available at the hotels? How much does it cost?
Yes, parking is available for a discounted rate of $10/day.
6. If I arrive before 3pm can I check-in to the hotel?
You can ask at the hotel's registration desk if they have your room available for you once you arrive.
7. Is there anything to do in the area if I arrive early?
We will have a hospitality room open at Tetra hotel (which is next door to AC hotel) starting at 2pm on Friday. The hotel staff will point you to the Hospitality Room in Tetra where we will have some snacks and beverages available (Room A). This is a great spot to stop in and meet other attendees and there is indoor and outdoor seating available. You can also grab your name badge early by stopping but the Hospitality Room.
8. Can I smoke in the hotel?
No, both hotels are smoke free.
9. Is there a restaurant in the hotel?
The Tetra has the Adrestia restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Both hotels also have full bars.
10. Is there a gym or place to workout at the hotel?
Both hotels have 24 hour fitness rooms available.
