This is essential for the parents to know! Every time I go camping with younger girls, most of them have no clue what they packed and then often end up losing two to three things.
Campfire ashes! When you're starting your fire put your previous ashes in the fire. After the campfire is out put some of the ashes back in your jar. This means that with each new fire you'll have the old memories right along side.
Kaper charts never get old! Camping can be pretty chaotic! Giving each girl a special roll can help tremendously.
Bandanas are a lifesaver when it comes to camping. Make sure every girl has a bandana and bring extras.
One of my favorite things to do before going camping is making a sit upon. This could be done in many ways i.e. using carpet padding, newspapers, foam, pillow stuffing, etc. as the cushion and plastic table cloth, a plastic tote bag, etc. to put around the cushion. To finish the sit upon, decorate with duct tape.
