2). Contact School or Location for availability
3). Do you need additional insurance? Contact Deann
4). Determine cost of event to cover event fun patches, materials and vendor services. Contact Deann if service vendors require a deposit.
5). Create flyer for distribution
6). Distribute SU Event spreadsheet or create Google doc for sign-in
7.) Does event need CPR/First Aider? Get volunteer to be at event.
8.) Get a volunteer to be the Emergency Contact. This volunteer will not be participating in the event.
9.) Email event particulars to Service Unit Support Specialist. Deb does this when she distributes event flyers. Julie Sinkoff jsinkhoff@gscsnj.org
10.) Submit Service Unit Special Program and trip form when SU is planning sensitive issue programs or trips lasting 2 or more nights. This form must be submitted to Council at least 2 weeks before the program or trip. Reach out to SUM for review and approval process prior to submission to: trips@gscsnj.org
