Coalmont Library
Located in the heart of Grundy County, the town of Coalmont was established by the Sewanee Coal, Coke and Land Company in 1904. The Coalmont Public Library is located in the historic Sewanee Coal, Coke and Land Office Building, which also served as the Coalmont Bank during the early twentieth Century. Serving the 840 residents of the city as well as the surrounding area, the library offers popular reading materials for all ages, free Wi-Fi and public access computers, a robust inter-library loan system, and copy/fax services. A variety of programming is offered year-round with the highlight being the state-wide Collaborative Summer Reading Program. Coalmont Library volunteers and I invite you to come visit the library to utilize our services, browse our collection and learn more.
