The Green Guy

We were assigned to design a bridge on ModelSmart 3D that partially resembles the bridge that we were going to build and test out of balsawood. The ModelSmart 3D bridge (or the green guy) had a few requirements. The bridge had to be a 4-foot balsawood bridge, span 3 feet, have a minimum clearance of 1ft across the span, have hinge roller end supports, and can hold the maximum load capacity. We used trusses to make this bridge as strong as possible. The green guy's weakest point, the middle of the bridge, can hold up to 32 pounds.
