I created these drawings to highlight the often overlooked seed head. I love how the wintertime woods and gardens are filled with dried leftovers from summer set against the wintertime colors of brown, blue, and gray. The dried seed heads and flowers that remain are like nature's little sculptures, creating just enough visual interest to keep us looking forward to spring!
