MY EARLIEST art-for-pay experience was in the 4th grade. A friend of mine would get classmates to pay 25 cents for me to draw a portrait of them. I don't remember, but I hope my friend received a percentage.

IN 1984, I received my BFA in Graphic Design from UTC in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I have been creating graphics and images ever since. Some of my influences have been from the illustration and design work of Milton Glaser, Michael Schwab, David Lance Goines, Barry Moser, Maxfield Parrish, and Bernie Fuchs.

THIS WEBSITE is a working portfolio of personal work and concepts. I am excercising my freedom to create posters and other work just for the sheer joy of doing it. I love creating "art" that communicates a specific message in the age-old form of graphic design.
