The 1945 electoral register shows Veronica KENNILS and her mother-in-law Mabel KENNILS as living at 7 Greenside Avenue. The Service register also records Thomas Henry KENNILS, Charles Edward KENNILS and John William JOHNSTON as being linked to the address.
In 1950 the family was registered at Kingsheath Avenue, Croxteth with Mabel and John William JOHNSTON; by 1955 they had moved to Conleach Avenue in Speke, They moved again, but stayed in Speke where their children grew up. Thomas died in 1978 and Veronica 20 years later.
