DISPOSITION OF COLLECTIONS, ESTATES AND LARGE LOTS:

We receive many requests regarding train sets and collections which have come into the possession of someone who needs help in getting a fair price and a reasonably prompt sale or disposition. Almost without exception, the holder of these goods wants some reassurance that the models will eventually fall into the hands of people who appreciate both the material value AND the personal value to the original owner.

Sometimes. the Train Show itself is the ideal venue to present these collections to hobbyist buyers.

But, NOT ALWAYS. An offer from a qualified reseller, a model railroad club, or even an individual might be a better alternative. And sometimes, the donation of a collection to a charitable organization may be the best alternative.

We are well-qualified to assist you in striking the best balance between value received, promptness of disposition, and appropriate destination of the treasure you hold. I say so because the show is owned and staffed by people who have vast experience on these matters, and a very personal investment in the hobby and the hobbyists. We "get it."
