Mrs Howe: I’m so excited to entering a new chapter in my teaching career, kindergarten, after seven years as a Pre-K teacher. I have taught at Great Falls Elementary school for 14 years, seven as a classroom assistant and seven as a teacher. I obtained my degree from Winthrop in 2011 with a degree in early childhood. I also have a master’s degree from Columbia College in divergent learning. In my spare time I enjoy flower gardening and travel. My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary this summer. We have two grown children who attended the Great Falls Schools. We share our home with a few cats and two dogs, Winston and Percy.
Ms. Adams: My name is Courtney Adams. I graduated from Winthrop University and hold a bachelor’s degree in early childhood. I am also endorsed in gifted education. I come from a family full of teachers and it is one of my many passions in life. I also love to paint and do a lot of DIY projects. I am excited to meet all of you this year and I cannot wait to get started!
Mrs. Rabon: Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Brooke Rabon and I am so excited to be working with you and your child this school year. This will be my first year teaching and I am ecstatic to spend it at Great Falls Elementary School! I graduated from Coastal Carolina University in May 2020, moved to Blythewood, SC, and got married in June 2020. I am currently working on my master’s degree in instructional technology (also from Coastal Carolina University). In my free time, I love exploring nature and hiking with my dog, Buster. I also enjoy watching Netflix and crafting! I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year! Please know that I am here for you throughout this entire Kindergarten journey. Though this year will look very different than in the past, we will get through it together!
I am a native of Great Falls have worked for the district for 19 years as a classroom assistant. Married to Keith for 37 years. I have two girls and are very proud of my five grandchildren. I am often found in the kitchen baking or making crafts.
My name is Mrs. Sonja T Wilson. I have been assisting in K5 for 6 years and First grade 1 year. I have always lived in Great Falls. I am married. I have two grown children and five grandchildren. I love children and enjoy working with them and watching them grow. I pledge to be a good example and do my part in helping them with manners and learning this year. I can't wait to meet you!!
I graduated from Elizabeth Heights High School Great Falls, S.C. After I graduated from high school I attended Morris College in Sumter S.C. where I earned my BS degree. I furthered education by attending Winthrop University. It is there where I earned my teacher and a Master degree in Early Childhood. I retired from Chester County School District, I have taught for 42 years. I love working with children. I was a foster parent for 18 years. I am now working as a Kindergarten assistant at Great Falls Elementary School.
