About 2nd Grade

Ms. Commodore: My name is Marsha Commodore. This is my 37th year of teaching. I love teaching children and watching that light come on. I am the mother of two sons, Winslow and James, NeeNee of Tre', and mother-in-law of Katra. I love my family and I believe in treating the children in my class as my own. My motto is every child can learn! Second grade is an exciting time when students form study habits, gain independence, build self-confidence, and begin to take charge of their own learning. You, the parent, are an important member of our classroom community. We look forward to an educational partnership with you and your child this year. We know we are going to have a FABULOUS year!

· Taught grades 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th

· Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education

· Master of Education in Early Childhood

· Master of Education in Divergent Learning

· SCAACE Teacher of Year 2017

· Married for 34 years

· Three adult children-

§ Tegan is a Large Animal Veterinary in Aiken, SC

§ Trey is an Equine Dentist, Lancaster, SC

§ Tate is a Welder, Lancaster, SC

Blessed with three grandchildren- AbbyGray (4yrs), Graydon (3yrs), and Korley (9mths)

I live on a farm with 30+ cows and 20+ horses!!

Mrs. Dugger: Mabuhay! My name is Ma. Elisa Paiste Dugger and I am from the Philippines. This will be my second year of teaching 2nd grade at Great Falls Elementary School.
