Coach Doc: The physical education teacher at Great Falls Elementary School is Elizabeth Dockery, also known as Coach Doc. She has taught for 22 years and the coming year will be her 17th at GFE as a teacher. She also attended GFE as an elementary student! She has obtained bachelor's and master's degrees in Health, Human Performance, K-12 Education, Exercise Prescription, and Health Promotion. Coach Doc loves dancing in the gym with her students but also loves teaching many sports and movement skills to help her students learn to love exercise. In her personal time she enjoys jogging and cooking (balanced living!😉) and country life, growing a garden and reading. She is married to Darrin Dockery who has served GFE and has even been Volunteer of the Year. Her Son, Seth is currently an Army scholarship and contract student at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Seth is an alumnus of GFE where his mom, Coach Doc was his P.E. teacher for 6 years! Moral of the story: a great school with awesome P.E. and other outstanding teachers helps you become smart and strong! That's what we do at GFE! We grow great students! Whether you are new to our school family or returning, Coach Doc is appreciative of the opportunity to serve our students and provide as many varied exercise opportunities in P.E. for all students to look forward to and really LOVE! P.S. Always be prepared for safe exercise : wear tennis shoes! Never know when the opportunity to exercise and love life will present itself!

Ms. Woodley: I was born in Upstate NY and moved to the south in 2018. I am certified in elementary, art, literacy and business education. This is my third year at Great Falls and am so happy to be part of the Great Falls Elementary family. I have transitioned from 3rd grade to the art teacher this year and am super excited to enjoy all the students at GFE and create!! As my students know, I love to crochet, work out and enjoy hiking!! Living in the south has been a great adventure and this summer has allowed me to explore the Outerbanks, go to the mountains and even work at Lowe's! This year is also going to be an exciting adventure and together we will be great!
