For this design project, I have created a pole pocket banner that you would see hanging from street lamps or posts, which is advertising an event. For my design, I created an artistic and paint-inspired banner for one of my favorite events in the Fox Valley, called Art in the Park, an event held in the summer where artists and crafters share and sell their work. The design is based on that artsy feel with color paint splotches bordering the text in the middle. The design process took place in Illustrator, which was then transferred over to InDesign to finish the piece so it could be production-ready, turning into a real-life pool pocket banner I use.
