Reflection for the day (7/23/2024):

Today the weather was cloudy and rainy. I noticed the river water level also looked a little bit lower than it has for the past couple of days. Yesterday the water was pretty murky but it was clear again today. While I was outside sampling today, the temperature of the water was about 16.5 degrees Celsius and the air temperature was about 73 degrees Fahrenheit. The conductivity of the water was 232. The pH of the water was about 6.8. I liked today because it was very lowkey compared to the other days. Collecting both the water samples and the soil samples was very straightforward. I checked my e-coli sample and I did not find any e-coli colonies. There is potential this could be due to the error I made and hence a super small testing sample of 5ml.
