I caught 7 Stoneflies (5 living and 2 non-living),1 Damselfy, 1 Beetle, and I found one Lunged Snail shell.

The water was very murky today.

Reflection for the day (7/22/2024):
Today the water was a lot murkier than it was yesterday. The pH of the water was about 7.1. The conductivity of the water was 238 and the temperature of the water was about 15.3 degrees Celsius. The temperature of the air was about 75 degrees Fahrenheit when I was collecting the samples. It was tricky to find macroinvertebrates but I was able to find 9. I found 7 Stoneflies, 2 of which were dead. I found a small macroinvertebrate that I had to look very closely at but it matched up most with the diagram of a Damselfly. I found one beetle. I also found the shell of a Lunged Snail but no snail was inside of the shell. I found a fallen bird's nest with a shell nearby that was broken and the embryo was still intact :(. I also found a feather near the bird's nest. Overall today was a very productive day and the weather was great!
