Gracie Sinclair

I am currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Program at Louisiana Tech University. I have taught a semester of penmanship in small groups at my high school and a summer school phonics and reading class. In my time at Louisiana Tech, I have completed many necessary certifications to be a teacher and am on track to finish my required classes early.

Career Goals

I plan to complete the required classes for my bachelor's a year early so that I can begin my master's before I start my teaching residency. I want to go back to my area to teach because I really want to make a positive impact in the community that I grew up in. I would also like to pursue my Ph.D. because I would like to become a professor at Louisiana Tech one day as well. I would love to teach other people early childhood education and help mold great teachers.

Specific Career Goals

Complete my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education with an A average.
Start my Master's in Early Childhood Education before I graduate college.
Go back to my hometown to teach and make a difference in my community.
