Objective - Learn computer science skills and the Python programming language in a team setting to control a Tello EDU minidrone
This was the first challenge we were set to do with our python drones. Unfortunately, I do not have the video of this code being run, but it was essentially an obstacle course for my drone. It took off, flew through one hoop, then turned and flew through another before landing.
This challenge incorporated the "up" and "down" commands that we could use with our drone. The drone takes off, lowers itself, flies under a table, rises back up, and flies over a pole.
This challenge required me to work and collaborate with a partner to make our drones fly in an octogan shape in tandem. My drone completed one side of the octogan, while my partner's drone completed the other. At the end, they landed in the opposite hoop.
I had to make my drone fly vertically in the shape of my initials, GH, to complete this challenge. Making the drone go up and down to create a vertical letter makes it easier for the viewer to see.
Unfortunately, many technical difficulties happened during the testing of my code, so I was not able to complete this challenge.
