What Is Inkling?

INKLING is a Creative Magazine* that publishes student art, literature, photography, and all other forms of expression.

• We also interview local and professionally established writers, artists, and photographers. 

• Our website includes resources on further opportunities and volunteer pathways, as well as collaborations with other Howard County High Schools.

New additions in the 2026-27 SY will be based off of student input! E.g. workshops, projects.

• Interested in fine arts, writing, liberal arts, photos, cartoons, and more? 

• Want to learn about publishing and working on designing and producing a creative magazine featuring a multitude of visual and literary pieces? 

Join INKLING, the GPHS Creative Magazine!

• Students will be able to build their resumes with an original voice, become an officially published writer, artist, or photographer, network with professionals in creative fields, and gain valuable, 1-on-1 insight.
