Government Polytechnic Himmatnagar is a premier technical education in Sabarkantha District working since 1983 and Computer Engineering Department started from year 2009 with capacity of 60 students. Computer Engineering course is AICTE approved since 2009 and with benefit of location all seats are filled during admission every year.
VISION
Institute: Government Polytechnic Himmatnagar aim to develop the Quality Technical Education System to produce Diploma Engineers of Highest Quality, compatible to Global Advance Technology and as per the needs of industries and society.
Department: To produce competent professional Computer Engineers by creating an environment that fosters the growth of creativity, innovation to adopt global skills of advance technology as per the need of industry and society.
MISSION
Institute: Institute opts to provide innovative real time technological skill & know how to our Diploma Students who can in turn uplift the complete global scenario of industries & human needs.
Department: To impart total quality education to the students through effective advanced teaching learning techniques and pedagogy through industry interaction to build their capacity and enhance their skills for vertical growth.

Dear students, colleagues, and alumni,
Welcome to the Computer Engineering Department of Government Polytechnic Himatnagar. "Success comes to those who work hard and stay with those who don't rest on the laurels of the past". The world today is changing at such an accelerated rate and we need to pause and reflect on this entire system of education. From this academic year, a new curriculum has been implemented with I feel proud to say that we have dedicated and genuine faculty members who deliver their knowledge with full enthusiasm and commitment to our students. The department strived to provide a conducive environment for the students to make them grow in all areas with co-curricular as well as extracurricular activities.
