Our Summer Intern Program is a nationally competitive STEM experience for high school students. Interns will learn how to interpret NASA satellite data while working with scientists and engineers in their chosen area of work, including astronomy, remote sensing, and space geodetic techniques to help understand Earth systems, natural hazards, and climate science.
TxDOT’s Internship Program is designed for high school and college students seeking to be introduced to career opportunities and gain practical work experience in transportation-related fields and support occupations.
Full and part-time positions are available year-round.
Academic credit for work experience may be awarded based on an institution’s internship policy.

To qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
Be at least 16 years old. Some positions may require a minimum age of 18
Be eligible to work in the United States
Be enrolled as a student at a high school, technical school, college, or university
