What makes us unique
Everyone thinks quality education is only attainable in cities, and only the rich can afford it. But at Sterling Heights Academy, we challenge this notion. We believe every child deserves a world-class education paired with rigorous character training, regardless of background or location. Despite being located in a small town, we deliver exceptional learning opportunities, promoting intellectual and character development in every student.
We are the only school in the Asante Mampong area that combines a rigorous academic curriculum with a focus on practical training, innovation and critical thinking. Our students don’t just learn—they excel. From producing national reading champions, regional chess champions to national and international mental arithmetic (UCMAS) champions, we are setting a new benchmark for holistic education. Our school stands alone in Asante Mampong as the only school with a library facility, ICT centre, small class sizes (25 students per class), a chess club, UCMAS lessons, French lessons, a dance club, a music and drama club and a spelling bee club.
Without Sterling Heights Academy, Asante Mampong would lack a vital pillar of hope for families striving to transform their lives through education. The community would miss a nurturing space where future leaders and creative thinkers are moulded—a school that not only provides knowledge but also instils moral integrity and a spirit of excellence. Many brilliant yet underprivileged children might never discover their full potential or achieve their dreams without us.
