From the exterior approaching the building, guests will assume the gothic architecture and brick archway of this façade is merely a blend of the city's landscape in the distance, however as they get closer they realize that this façade is that of the infamous exterior of Gotham's most notorious hospital, Arkham. Known for housing many of Batman's gallery of villains, Arkham Asylum as you approach becomes a foreboding, mystical exterior that you wonder in your head if you will ever escape. With lights on inside, guests can see that many of the city's villains are inhabitants inside. You're invited inside by a man known as Dr Hugo Strange, who has taken over Arkham over the last few years. As you weave through a tapestry of switchbacks through the entrance atrium, Dr Hugo Strange, an audio-animatronic that takes the liberty of providing guests a tour of facility.
"Welcome distinguished guests, Arkham has a deep history within the City of Gotham." Strange begins. "In my experience, it has gotten a poor reputation for being a facility to house the criminals of the city, however I think the real criminals are those who don't have compassion for those in need and instead leave the rehabilitation process to people like myself, and Dr. Crane here.
Dr. Jonathan Crane, aka the Scarecrow, appears from behind the curtain, also in AA form, to continue the pre-show for guests.
"You see, think of Arkham more like a school" Crane continues "The 'criminals' as the city has branded them, simply don't have the proper guidance. In my opinion, they need to lighten up."
"On this tour we hope you will see all of the advancements we have made here at this 'school'" Strange states. "Follow through this door and see for yourselves what Arkham truly is."

The creepy ambiance of the entrance to Arkham begins to subside however as guests launch off from the loading station. Boarding vessels for 4 guests to take them into the unknown, guests encounter the first villain's lair surrounding by puppets. Eerie as that may be, you see The Ventriloquist talking to his puppets explaining how if it wasn't for Batman realizing that the puppet wasn't actually talking to him, he would have won! With what sounds like carnival music playing the background, guests begin to realize that this adventure might not be scary after all, in fact it might just be weird and bizarre!
Continuing on down the hallway guests notice the colors transition to deep purple encased by a chessboard like pattern.
"Welcome to your Un-Birthday!" a voice of the Mad Hatter cries out. Guests think they are back in Fantasyland on the Alice in Wonderland attraction - but no they are in fact in Arkham Asylum. The Mad Hatter, another peculiar Batman villain, is dining at his own tea party with puppets from the Ventriloquist all sitting down to sip tea. "Would you like to join us? We're expecting company!"
You are whisked away before the tea party could commence but now you're in a room full of eggs. Literal eggs. Who might this be? But the Eggman!
"If only Batman was Lactose Intolerant - I would have won!" He screams
Guests with a keen sense of audio would notice that the voice of Eggman is played by none other than Nicolas Cage
"THE EGGS NO NOT THE EGGS!" Eggman screams "I'm going to have to steal the Declaration of Arkham Independence to escape this place, hey would you like to join us?" He askes the guests as they continue on. "Wait, come back! Hey Zodiac - we have new recruits!"
Guests then enter an elevator shaft and are whisked skyward to the second floor of Arkham
"I used my zodiac focus to lift the elevator up" a voice stated from the distance. The Zodiac Master steps forward from behind the glass of his containment area to confirm with the guests that he and Eggman have been planning their escape.
"Today is the day" another voice states, that of the Calendar Man
"I never miss an Un-Birthday" He proclaims "Zodiac Master is right, today is the day we all escape - now we just need a distraction"
Guests continue to weave in and out of the halls as the alarms go off. "Oh no they're onto us!"
"It's okay - I set off the alarm on purpose, it's time for us to escape, come on to the elevators!" The Polka-Dot man proclaimed
Guests then enter a 2nd elevator shaft and ascend to the 3rd floor, however in the middle they get stuck, and drop back down to the first floor before ascending back up to the 3rd floor to be greeted by the Monarch of Menace.
"Haha! The Monarch suggested "I just wanted to send you on a little dip, no let's make our escape!"
Out the window as you approach the roof you can see the Bat symbol perched into the nightsky as the villains begin to assemble on the roof.
"This is it boys!" The Ventriloquist states "See you all on the other side"
"Oh no" Eggman screamed "It's the Batman!"
"That's not the Batman" The Zodiac Master interrupted "That's...."
"Catman to the rescue!" Polka-Dot Man responded
As Catman battled Batman and Robin on the rooftops, the villains escaped Arkham and ventured out to Gotham City
"Try to catch us again Batman!" Eggman yelled
"I'll save us a date!" Calendar Man replied
Guests then entered the elevator shaft as the Monarch of Menace sent them back down to the ground floor swooosh
Guests then disembark and leave Arkham as they see the eccentric villains gathered together on the horizon and running away from the Bat signal.
