ArdenMed

Was part of a volunteer project working as embedded systems developer for the ArdenMed working on an oxygen concentrator  built for low resource environments.

The above images showcase some of the prototyping circuits which were created on my breadboard in order to write and test external device drivers.

My main role on the ArdenMed (formally ArdenVent) Team is writing and managing a library of peripheral device drivers for sensors and actuators. The project is an international cohort of engineers volunteering their time to build devices to help address the COVID-19 crisis or any future crisis in areas with limited access to health care. All devices are designed to be operated in rugged rural access environments and are intended for the developing world but also are modern enough to be adopted in any state of the art ICU. Currently writing firmware/software on the O2 concentrator as well as working closely with the hardware team bringing up and refining the first couple revs of the hardware design.
