Pastor Dave Parr and his wife, Doris, are East Tennessee natives from Greeneville. In 2013, they moved to Long Beach, Mississippi, where Pastor Dave was called to serve Grace Lutheran Church. After twelve blessed years of ministry alongside the people of Grace and the surrounding community, the Holy Spirit led the Parrs back home to East Tennessee. Pastor Dave was then called to serve as pastor of The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Morristown, Tennessee.

Pastor Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and a Master of Arts in Adult Education from Tusculum College (now Tusculum University). He received his Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina, and completed his pastoral internship at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Mount Holly, North Carolina.

Pastor Dave and Doris are blessed with six adult children, thirteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Returning to East Tennessee has brought them closer to family and provided the opportunity to spend more time together.
