The quilts we create provide warmth, comfort, and hope to homeless shelters, baby blankets for the pregnancy center, and families facing difficult circumstances. Each quilt is handcrafted with care, prayer, and compassion, becoming a tangible reminder that someone cares.
Whether you're an experienced quilter or have never picked up a needle and thread, you're invited to join us. No experience is necessary—we're happy to teach beginners, and all materials are provided.
There is a place for everyone. We welcome a variety of talents and skill levels, including:
Sewing
Cutting fabric
Ironing
Assembling quilt tops
Tying and finishing quilts
More than just making quilts, we enjoy fellowship, laughter, conversation, and the joy of serving others together.
The Quilting Ministry meets on the fourth Friday of each month at 9:30 AM in the quilting room behind the kitchen at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Morristown. We are on a break now, but will start back up on August 28, 2026.
Come share your talents, make new friends, and help wrap others in God's love—one quilt at a time.
