Bush Series #7 - Sunday 11th October

Sunday is shaping up to be a great day for our last event in the bush series for 2026. The location is Pineview Vittoria, and Nick has some fun in store. First up there'll be a FARM/BUST SCATTER SPRINT EVENT involving a mass start at 10.30am SHARP. This will be a handicap event with Nick as the handicapper and sole arbitrator! It will be a short event - approximately 10 minutes. Following the sprint event, we'll run the LINE COURSES.

Pineview is a fun area for orienteering, with rolling hills, open running/walking, native bush and pasture. And the views out over the hills are spectacular. It's a great location for those new to orienteering, or those who want to jump up a level in course type.

Directions:

Follow the Mitchell Highway east out of Orange to Vittoria (~35km), turn left (north) into Oaky Creek Lane and follow the signs for about 1.5km. Allow 30 minutes travel time from Orange.

Advance Notice of November Park Series:

November will feature the Park Series again this year, with three events to be scheduled. Details to follow soon.

Permanent Course at Elephant Park

Launched in June 2025, this course is now 'live' you can enjoy orienteering any day of the year! Details on how to access the permanent course are available by going to the Permanent Course page of the website.
