About Goldseekers

Goldseekers Orienteers Club is based in Orange in the beautiful Central Tablelands area of New South Wales.  We run events in forested bush land  areas around Orange - usually the first Sunday - in the months of March thru October or November, when it's not so hot.

Early in the year - February/March - we run some simpler style events in the streets and park areas of Orange to let newcomers get an idea of what orienteering is all about.

If you are in our area and want to find out about orienteering come to one of our events.  Bring the family - it suits all ages - and we'll show you how to get started.

Check our Events Pages for dates and locations of our events.  Click on 'Map Locations' in the menu bar to see the areas where we go orienteering.

We chose the name Goldseekers because in our sport of orienteering we are looking to win 'gold' and also the first payable gold deposits in Australia were discovered at Ophir just outside Orange in around 1850.

We are a friendly bunch of people, a mixture of young and not so young, plenty of families, some are highly competitive while others take a more relaxed approach!

Drop us an email to say hello or follow us on Facebook.  We would love to hear from you.
