About Me
I'm a Roboticist from India. I received my Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2012, and Master of Technology degree in Robotics and Automation from the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University in 2016.
I carried out my research on robotics and haptics at Amrita Multi Modal Applications and Human-Computer Interaction Labs (AMMACHI Labs). I have been working on innovative technologies in robots and IoT since 2012.
I currently work as a Senior Project Engineer in IoT Technologies. Before that, I was an innovation consultant on robotics and drones, as well as on other emerging technologies. I was also associated with a couple of startups in India to create innovative solutions.
My research interests lie at the intersection of robotics, haptics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, drones, human-robotic interaction, IoT and computer vision. I am also a fellow member of The Robotic Society (India). I had conducted many workshops for the students to make them aware of robotics.
Robotics has the potential to improve people's lives and work habits by increasing efficiency, safety, and service.
It's now feasible to turn everything, from a pill to a jet, into a part of the Internet of Things, thanks to the advent of super-cheap computer chips and the widespread availability of wireless networks.
For decades, computer vision, or the ability of artificially intelligent systems to "see" like humans, has piqued interest and sparked extensive research.
